1st Day of School

My little monsters started school a few weeks ago. Linc's first day was August 31 and Grunt's was September 6. They were both so excited to be back in school...but not half as excited as I was :)
Grant is going to the same preschool he went to last year. This year he has Miss Doris and Miss Lisa as teachers. He loves them and his favorite part, other than getting to see Gramma Paula every day, is that his girlfriend Cami is in his class again. She's his girlfriend from last year and he was so happy that she's in his class again. He has no problem telling everyone that Cami is his girlfriend and that she's "willy willy cute". He's going to be in speech therapy class once a week starting in October and we really hope that by the end of the year we can actually understand what he's saying :)

Lincoln has had a lot of new things this year when it comes to school. He's going to a new school, new schedule (as far as going for a longer amount of time) and he gets to ride the bus. I think the bus was the hardest part for me. Not having him in Kindergarten, going to the elementary school with the big kids, being gone longer from home...nope, just the fact that someone else is responsible to make sure he gets to and from school safely is the part that took some adjusting to on my part. I didn't cry, in case you were wondering. I think if he would've been sad to leave, or scared, I might have. But he was grinning from ear to ear the entire time and was so excited that it was impossible not to be excited for him. He has some friends from our neighborhood is his class and also his cousin Kyler.
