Conference Weekend

General Conference was 4 days after we brought Grace home from the hospital.  My parents took the boys out to the cabin/slc for the weekend, while Dave got to stay home with all his girls.  It's the first time he's ever been outnumbered in the gender department :)

Sleeping Pill

Turns out our little Gracie Bug is quite the snuggler, aka sleeping pill.  Here's a months worth of cuddle pics.

Looks like she's not as interested in ipad watching as her sister is.

SEVEN!

Our Lincoln is now SEVEN! He's grown up so much the last few months and it really shows.  He's still a big boy, weighing in at 56 lbs (75%) and is 50 inches tall (90%), and seems to get more and more handsome by the day.  He's now in the 1st grade and is doing much better with it.  He had a really hard time the first week and a half of school.  Going from 3 hours of school a day to 7 hours is a big change.  Especially for a boy who can still take an afternoon nap :)  He was really sad and homesick in the beginning, but one boring weekend at home, and a visit with his teacher, seemed to have solved the problem.  Yes, I've already been called in by his teacher for a meeting.  I'm starting to think this was just the first of many in his school career! He still has a way with making friends with all those around him, especially adults.  All the ladies in the office, the librarian, and I'm sure the lunch ladies, know him by name .

Here are some of Lincoln's favorite things right now:
*still LOVES angry birds and "pets"
*cheese pizza, spaghetti or chicken taquitos
*chocolate ice cream
*drawing and painting
*anything space related
*baking treats with Mom

Here are some things that are just very Lincoln right now:
*being SUPER emotional
*saying "literally" and urches (which means brakes)
*picky about shirts and how soft they are (no handsome shirts, aka, button ups)

And finally, here are some Lincoln facts:
*loves to help with Lucy and is really great at it (getting her out of her crib, getting her in and out of her high chair, getting her food, etc)
*still very loving and snugly
*has lost 7 teeth so far
*doesn't really like to say family prayers, but is always the first to point out "what would Jesus do?"
*great with math (addition and subtraction) and is getting better with reading
*can make chicken nuggets, eggos, toast, and sandwiches by himself

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Linc!
