Gingerbread Men
We made Gingerbread Men for FHE last night. Before you get to impressed that we actually have FHE let me clarify something...we made Gingerbread Men last night and it happened to be Monday night, so we called it FHE :) The boys loved it. They both really enjoy baking.

Lincoln snuck into the kitchen while the cookies were cooling down for a taste test.

Let It Snow!
We got out first snow of the year on Saturday night. Unfortunately, we all got sick on Sunday, so the kids had to wait until today to play in it. Lincoln LOVES it. He's been out playing in it for 30 minutes now and is happy as a clam (what does that even mean?!). Anywho, Grant on the other hand, just got frustrated with the gloves so he's already inside watching a cartoon snuggled in a blanket on the couch. As soon as I put my big girl panties on, I'll go help them make a snowman or something...or maybe our snowman will have to wait until Daddy can go out and help :)

Sneak Peak
Here's a sneak peak into the future of Dave's hair. We (meaning mostly me) decided that we (again, mostly me) wanted to see what Dave would look like without hair. His poor hair line is receding, and even though it will prolly be a few years until this kind of cut is necessary, I decided to see what it will look like (and still have to option of it growing back). It's taken me a few days to get used to, but I'm really starting to like it now. Grant took 3 days to even look at Dave. He wanted nothing to do with his "new" Daddy, but is okay with it now. Lincoln thinks it's awesome and is always asking to touch his Daddy's head. Link told Dave last night that his hair looked pretty nice :)

Santa Pic
Santa Clause came to our ward Christmas party last week. Lincoln was way excited and had no problem sitting on Santa's lap and telling him what he wanted for Christmas. To Lincoln this is the best idea ever- you tell some old guy anything you want and he'll bring to your house while you're sleeping. It's like having another Grandpa Troy :) Grant, on the other hand, HATED sitting on some weird old man's leg and freaked out. Sweet.

Gale Reunion 2008
Last weekend we went to Mesquite for the now annual Gale Family Reunion. We had a great time and it was the first time since all of the kids have been married that EVERYONE (kids, spouses, grandkids, etc.) was there. On Friday we went to St. George and Jen, Kevin and kiddos got sealed as a family. It was awesome!
Grant listening as usual.
Lincoln was freezing so this is his "I'm freakin' freezing Mr. Bigelsworth" face.
Grant listening as usual. Then we went back to the house to swim and enjoy the sun.
That night we had Christmas
and a surprise baby shower for Tameo and Chris.
Saturday a photographer, Kevin Hulett, came out to the house and took some family pics. When I get them I'll make a post. I'm not sure how they turned out yet, but I have high hopes :) He seemed to do a really good job and I was very happy with the turnout (like I said, haven't seen actually pics yet, but hopefully everyone smiled). We had to tell Lincoln that Wall-E would come out of the camera if he could look right at it and give it his best smile. One day we should probably stop lying to him. Oh, obviously Wall-E never showed up, but a pack of fruit snacks seem to give little boys with ADD amnesia :) We took the kids to a local park after nap time and they had a great time.
That night Janna, Sean and Shaunna volunteered to stay home with the little ones while the rest of the adults went bowling at one of the local casinos. It's a good thing you can't see the scores :)
Sunday we had some delicious breakfast, cleaned up our messes, said our good-byes to everyone, and we got back into Grandpa's airplane for our quick ride home.
It was such a great weekend. I want to give a few thank you shout-outs: All my wonderful Gale family; Austin for watching the boys while we went through the temple; and finally my parents, for not only letting us stay in their awesome house, but letting us borrow their plane to get there and back. Thanks Mom and Dad we love you!
