Easter '11

Easter was a lot of fun this year. It got a little hectic, being that Grant's birthday was the Saturday before, and that's the day that all the egg hunts and celebrations happen in Utah. But he didn't seem to mind and we had a great weekend with family. Here's the picture recap:

My baby boy turned FOUR this past weekend. I can't believe how fast time has gone with him.

Things that are very "Grant":

*He repeats words like "super", "way" and "long" 3 or 4 times to indicate how extreme something is. For example, "5 minnits is way, way ,way WAAAY long time!".

*He loves preschool. He gets bummed on the day that Lincoln gets to go and not him.

*He loves video games and is ridiculously good at them. He can beat Yarn Kirby all by himself.

*He loves to snuggle...if you can get him to hold still long enough.

*He loves the trampoline. He could stay outside jumping for hours.

*He is very mischievous. His curiosity level is off the charts. He gets into things that he's not supposed to. all. the. time.

*He is very silly. He loves to make people laugh. Especially his little sister.

Happy Birthday Grunt, Gruntabee, Bean, Beaners, Buddy, Dude. We love you so very much!

5 Months Old

Miss Lucy is now 5 months old.

She still loves to sit up all the time and can almost do it by herself.

She loves eating solids and has the waist line to prove it.

She gave Dave her first giggle, but gave Mindy her first real laugh.

She loves her feet and puts anything she can get her chubbly hands on in her mouth.

She had a bad cold for 2 weeks, but seems to finally be getting over it. She slept with Mindy the entire two weeks and is now in the process of being re-sleep trained.

Swimming, TML and Bunnies

The boys finished up another round of swim lessons last week. Grant is getting better at not being afraid of the water and Lincoln is getting better at actually swimming without a life jacket. We're hoping he'll be able to swim alone by the end of summer. For Grant, the hope is that he can stay outside long enough to bob in the pool without burning :)

TML (too much love): Grant LOVES to kiss Lucy. All. The. Time. It's like an itch that he has to scratch. Seriously, we can tell him to back off and within 90 seconds he's all over her. It's a good thing she loves him back so much and doesn't seem to mind.

My 3 bunnies. The boys found these ears at Kmart and they all looked so damn cute I had to buy them. They are very excited for the Easter Bunny to visit our house this year. They are both getting to such fun ages.
