Gracie 9 Months

My sweet little princess is now 9 months old.
She's 16.4 lbs (20%) and 27 inches (50%).
She went up in the height percentile and down in the weight one. Such a tiny little girl. She's gotten back into the habit of waking up every 4 hours to eat at night. I wasn't sure if it was just a habit or if she actually needed to eat that often, because she was eating really well and not just kind of nursing every time I'd feed her. Her pediatrician assured me it's a habit and that she can and should be sleeping for a decent amount of time. So I'm going to start making her go at least 7-8 hours, after I put her to bed for the night, and see how that goes. She's still nursing 4-5 times during the day, but I'm also going to start letting her have 3 solid meals a day with the family, so she should start nursing less. She's starting to roll here and there a little bit. She doesn't really do it to get somewhere, more or less just side to side. She still takes 3 naps a day (each one 90 mins-2 hours) and goes to bed around 8 pm. She really is such a good baby and we're so blessed to have her as our little caboose. Love you Gracie Bug.

Dino Tri 2013

Dave participated in the Dino-Tri, again, this year. So not only was he devoting himself to play practice every night (see previous post), but also to tri training every morning. He was a really busy boy for a few months. This year he opted to do the "regular" version instead of the olympic one (which he did last year). It was half the distance on all three events and he really enjoyed it this time, instead of just going through the motions. He did really well on the swim, but that has become one of his new favorite ways to work out. He loves swimming and does it a few times a week. He did good on the bike and, considering that he walked a little on the run, had a good run time. Overall he did great and we're so glad that he got to cross the finish line with his brother. Chris, Tameo, Rylie, and Grammy G all came up for a few days before the tri to hang out. We also had a lot of my side of the family come up for the weekend. Dave had a lot of support, which was awesome! Here are a bunch of pictures from the weekend.

Anything Goes

Dave participated in the Outlaw Trail Theater, again, this year. After taking last year off, per my very pregnant request, he was excited to get back into the spotlight. We made a deal that as long as he took half the kids with him, I would be supportive. He wisely chose the older half. The boys absolutely loved being in the show. They were both really sad when it was over, more so Lincoln than Grant, and are already talking about doing it again next year. There weren't really kids in the show this year, but when you're as crazy talented as my hubs, you can make any demands you want...like putting your own kids in the show. Sometimes it's nice being married to a diva (and yes, that could definitely go either way). The show this year was Anything Goes. It's a show from the 40's and has actually been revived on Broadway as of last summer. I had never heard of it before now, so it was really fun to see something that I knew nothing about. The show was fantastic! Unfortunately, they never really got a big audience. Not because the show wasn't awesome, but because people usually don't make an effort to go see a show they know nothing about. Dave was the lead, Billy Crocker, and the boys were cute little extras. It's been my favorite role that Dave has played. He was seriously a dreamboat on stage. I hear there are a group of 80 year old women still talking about him. Thank you to all our friends and family who came out to support my men, it sure means a lot to us. Here's to another successful summer of theater!

Seriously the cutest extras ever!

This is my favorite picture.
