Not To Be Outdone...
Grant had been waiting for his turn to ski ever since Lincoln went. We had the opportunity to go to the cabin last weekend and Dave took both boys skiing on Saturday afternoon. Grant did a really good job and loved it! Looks like all my men are officially skiing now :)

Lincoln Hits the Slopes
Over Thanksgiving weekend, Lincoln went skiing for the first time. He had a private lesson and his teacher, Aldo, was awesome! Dave got to tag along and take pictures and video and be there for support. Lincoln did a great job and loved it!

Happy Birthday Old Man
My sweetheart turned 36 last month. I know, he doesn't act that old, right? :) To celebrate, I whisked...wait, is that the right word? oh well, close enough...him away to Park City for a well needed and deserved overnight trip without the kids. I thought my surprise had been ruined, but lo and behold, he had no idea until right before we headed for the hotel. We stayed at the Stein Eriksen Lodge and it was amazing. We had a huge room with a fireplace and big jetted tub. We also had a box of homemade chocolates waiting on our bed for us. They looked more like art than food. I packed us some dress up clothes and we got all fancy schmancy for dinner. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel, The Glitretind, and the food was incredible. Dessert was the best though, always is in my opinion. Then we just hung out and watched a movie in our room and had cookies & milk delivered around 10 pm. It was a great trip and I'm thankful that my parents were willing and able to take the little monsters for us so we could get away.

Happy Birthday my love. I could go on and on about all your wonderful qualities and brag about everything you've done/do, but instead I'll sum it up with one word. Suchafavowit.

Gobble Gobble
For Thanksgiving we did the traditional Meier Family Thanksgiving, aka, The Jerry Springer Show :) My Dad is one of EIGHT, so each year we reserve a church and have a big gathering of the masses with enormous amounts of food and people. Not to brag, but the Meier's are incredible cooks. The food is always amazing, and as much as I tease about it, I love being able to get together with all my aunts & uncles, cousins & their kids, my family, and of course my Grandma Meier. This year we brought a few other family members, Grandpa John and my Mom's little brother Scott and his girls. After the feast, the kids destroyed a Santa pinata and then played bingo. This is the third year my parents have done bingo for the kids, and it's not your typical bingo. It's Griswold Bingo. The prizes are amazing and they always make sure each kid walks away with at least one. I'm so thankful and blessed to have the family that I do. To have the love and support and craziness and amount and memories. Happy Thanksgiving.

ONE Year Old!
She's one year old. Wow. At her one year wellness check she was 30 inches tall (90%) and weighed 21.1 lbs (70%). I don't remember what her head was, but it was in the 50%. Miss Lucy has 8 teeth, 4 on top and 4 on bottom. She LOVES big girl food and refuses to eat baby food or have a bottle. Her favorites are milk, breakfast bars, scrambled eggs, pnutbutter & jelly/honey sandwich, any kind of meat or chicken, and most veggies. She's gotten on kick lately where she doesn't really like fruit. She'll eat a banana and sometimes strawberries, but that's it. She's walking like a little pro. About 2 weeks before her 1st bday she started walking, but would still crawl when she fell down. Now she'll stand right back up when she falls and continue walking. She still doesn't talk, but is starting to jibber jabber sometimes. She's very good at letting you know exactly what she wants through pointing, screaming and signing (some of it legit, some of it her own made up stuff). She still loves to dance and sing and be silly with her brothers. Her favorite shows right now are Spookley the Square Pumpkin, Baby Einstein movies and Backyardigans. She still takes 2 naps a day and sleeps at night from 7 pm to 7:30-8:00 am. She's very curious about everything and loves to follow her Mommy around the house all day and "help" with all the cooking and cleaning. We completely adore our little Lou and fall more in love with her every day. Happy Birthday baby girl :)

My Dad has given my sister and I one red rose for each year we are. Yep, I got 30 roses last year. He's continued the tradition with Lucy and gave her her first rose.)

Princess Party
My sweet little princess turned one last month. One year old! The rate at which time is flying is insane. I'll do her 12 months old post next, but for now, here is the proof from the party. We had some family over, ate some dinner and opened presents. The princess had a great day and I want to thank all those who came to support her/us. Love you guys!
