Happy Birthday Bean

My sweet little Grunt-a-bee turns 3 today. At his wellness check with the doctor, I was surprised to hear how much he's grown. He now weighs 30 lbs (35th percentile) and is 37 inches tall (50th percentile). A few things about Grunt:

*he's very loving...he loves to snuggle and give kisses and just be in my face. a lot. i love it.

*he's extremely mischievous! you have to keep a close eye on him. naughty.

*he's funny. silly funny. makes you laugh with his faces kind of funny.

*if he gets angry, watch out. he's feisty. and tough. and has a temper.

*he loves his brother and they are best friends. most of the time.

*he loves to sing. one of his favorites right now is battlefield by jordin sparks.

*he's potty trained, knows his abc's, counts to 10, and knows most of his colors.

We love you Bean! We're so grateful for you and the love you add to our family. Happy Birthday!

Easter '10

For Easter this year we stayed home again. The boys did an egg hunt at one of the local parks Saturday morning and then the Easter Bunny came to our house and left baskets to find Sunday morning. Daddy had Friday off, and the Mackay's came up, so we basically spent the entire weekend at my parents house letting kids play outside while the adults watched conference/played games. Well, Daddy worked on the yard most of the day Friday and Saturday and I mostly layed on the couch at my parents house, but you get the idea. Easter will never be the same, for me, without Great Grandma/pa White and Jerome. Those are some of my dearest childhood memories and I'm sad that my boys don't get to have them as well. But they love that they get to spend so much time with their cousins and grandparents and that is what really matters. Family. Hope y'all had a wonderful Easter weekend!

Baby #3 is due November 6. You may all leave your super nice congratulations comments now :)
I've been super sick with this one (wasn't with either of the boys) and so I'm kind of a hermit as of late. Please don't think me rude if I don't return your phone call/email or want to hang out. All I want to do is curl up in a ball and try not to throw up. Good thing the first trimester is almost over!
