Anything Goes

Dave participated in the Outlaw Trail Theater, again, this year. After taking last year off, per my very pregnant request, he was excited to get back into the spotlight. We made a deal that as long as he took half the kids with him, I would be supportive. He wisely chose the older half. The boys absolutely loved being in the show. They were both really sad when it was over, more so Lincoln than Grant, and are already talking about doing it again next year. There weren't really kids in the show this year, but when you're as crazy talented as my hubs, you can make any demands you want...like putting your own kids in the show. Sometimes it's nice being married to a diva (and yes, that could definitely go either way). The show this year was Anything Goes. It's a show from the 40's and has actually been revived on Broadway as of last summer. I had never heard of it before now, so it was really fun to see something that I knew nothing about. The show was fantastic! Unfortunately, they never really got a big audience. Not because the show wasn't awesome, but because people usually don't make an effort to go see a show they know nothing about. Dave was the lead, Billy Crocker, and the boys were cute little extras. It's been my favorite role that Dave has played. He was seriously a dreamboat on stage. I hear there are a group of 80 year old women still talking about him. Thank you to all our friends and family who came out to support my men, it sure means a lot to us. Here's to another successful summer of theater!

Seriously the cutest extras ever!

This is my favorite picture.
