CA meets UT

Uncle Chris (Daddy's bro) came to the cabin for the weekend for some good Utah skiing. Daddy and Chris ended up skiing most of the day Saturday and then could barely walk Sunday. Seriously, it was like both of them aged 50 years overnight. However, they put their big boy panties on and took the boys sledding. It was Chris' first time to ever sled and I think he had a good time. The boys had a blast with him and didn't want him to leave. Thanks Tameo and Riley for letting us borrow your hubby/daddy. We'll have to make it so you two come next time as well!

Vday 2010

We spent the weekend in SLC at the cabin. Saturday was filled with Krispy Kreme, Pirate Island (with the Martinsens), Fashion Place mall, The Old Spaghetti Factory (with Austin and Jordann), and the hot tub. It was a long, but oh so fun, day.

*lots o' hot tub time*

*pirate island*
Sunday Daddy went skiing the first half of the day while I hung out with our boys are relaxed. The Farris family came up for some afternoon sledding, dinner and of course the hot tub. Austin and Jordann joined us as well. We decorated the table all valentinie and had lots of treats.

Monday was The Cheesecake Factory and South Towne mall. I got to do a lot of shopping while Daddy entertained the boys. It was heaven. I hope you and yours had a wonderful vday as well!

Stuck

We've been stuck inside a lot lately. Not only is it freakin' freezing Mister Biggelsworth, but the sun disappears for most of the day. I spent two full days cleaning/organizing last week...which means we didn't leave the house. All day. For two days. The boys got restless and my patience ran extremely thin. We've also stayed inside because all my men have been sick off and on the past month. As of now, everyone is finally better. Here's to hoping the sun will come out, the viruses will stay away and that I will get more creative with inside things to do with the boys.

Sassy Frass

My conversation with Grunt this morning as he tried to get my attention:
G "Maw, look."
M "Uh huh. That's cool bud (as I continue to play on the computer)."
G "Maw! Look at me! (as he points to his eyes and glares at me)"
M "What?! I'm looking (as I finally look at him and try not to laugh)."
G "You wanna hit or go nugh-night?" (He was trying to get me to hit an empty water bottle on the desk because it makes a funny sound.)
M "Umm, hit."
G "NO! We don't hit. Now go nugh-night!"

Wow. Do I really sound like that? :)

Conversation with Link while I was getting lunch ready and he was being annoying:
M "Link, you're really driving me crazy!"
L "You're not even in the car."

It took me a minute to figure out he was talking about the "driving" part of my statement.
And so it starts...
