So my computer isn't working right now. I'm typing this from Dave's laptop. I have a bunch of pics from my bday weekend, Christmas, end of the year madness, etc. It's going to have to wait. In the meantime, enjoy the new background and music :) See you in 2010!

Silly Air

I took both boys to the dentist on Monday for their first cleaning/checkups. I was so impressed by how well they both did. My Mom was kind enough to come with me and help. Dave was home sick, and I was also getting my teeth cleaned, so I need some extra hands.

Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures or videos of that first day. I did, however, get pics and a short video of Lincoln the next day getting a cavity filled. He was such a trooper (it helps that we happen to have a really good dentist as well). He had no problem with the "silly air" and actually held the mask to his face to breath it in deeper. Must be the Grandpa Troy in him. Oh, and he had to wear the sunglasses because the light is just too bright for my little vampire.

The first time he was given the shot to numb his mouth, he jumped and clamped his mouth shut. But after a few more minutes with the silly air and a major distraction, he opened up again and didn't even flinch. The whole filling process was super fast and Lincoln was chill the whole time. Thank you very much Dr. Larsen, and Sondra, for doing such a great job!
