My conversation with Grunt this morning as he tried to get my attention:
G "Maw, look."
M "Uh huh. That's cool bud (as I continue to play on the computer)."
G "Maw! Look at me! (as he points to his eyes and glares at me)"
M "What?! I'm looking (as I finally look at him and try not to laugh)."
G "You wanna hit or go nugh-night?" (He was trying to get me to hit an empty water bottle on the desk because it makes a funny sound.)
M "Umm, hit."
G "NO! We don't hit. Now go nugh-night!"
Wow. Do I really sound like that? :)
Conversation with Link while I was getting lunch ready and he was being annoying:
M "Link, you're really driving me crazy!"
L "You're not even in the car."
It took me a minute to figure out he was talking about the "driving" part of my statement.
And so it starts...

Happy Birthday Mom!
Today is my Mom's 47th birthday. I just wanted to let her know how much I love and appreciate her. Most of the pictures I have of my Mom also include my Dad. So even though this will look like an anniversary post, remember it's a birthday :) I love you Mom.Happy Birthday Grammy!!!

Mario and Men
We had my 2 of my nephews over last weekend for a slumber party. Daddy took all the "men" downstairs and they played Mario for a couple hours. I stayed upstairs and watched Days. Way too much testosterone in the lower level of the house! Thanks Uncle D for, well, doing what you probably would've done anyway without the mini fan club around :)

So True
I found this post, http://placetobloom.blogspot.com/2010/01/no-more-yelling-mommy.html, while blog stalking this morning and it rang so true for me. I know I need to try it.

End of 2009
Here's what happened at the end of December '09:

*Daddy kidnapped me for an overnight SLC trip for my birthday. We went to see the lights at Temple Square, ate dinner at The Roof (top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building), stayed the night at Little America, and had Banbury Cross donuts in bed for breakfast. It was awesome! Thank you so much sweetheart and thank you Mom and Dad for taking the boys. Pictures will be posted later- they are on my other camera and phone.
*We spent Christmas at the snow cabin. This is our 3rd year in a row doing it and it's becoming a tradition that we love. The boys were so much fun this year and got more than they needed, again. We did a lot of eating, sledding, relaxing, playing, hanging in the hot tub, and spending time with family. We made it down to the valley to do a Christmas Eve breakfast with the Meier clan and a day after Christmas surprise dinner with the Deuels. It's always good to be around so much family.

*New Year's Eve was spent at our house. We had a few of our nearest and dearest over for a last minute get together. We had such a fun night and it was a great way to start off 2010! New Year's day we went back to the cabin for another fun filled weekend. The Larsen's came up for a couple days and we also got to hang out with the Hiatts (Skeet and Melanie) for a couple hours. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera. I know, it must be a first for me, and I'm so sad I didn't have it. We had another wonderful weekend and are blessed to have such wonderful friends. Daddy also discovered the newest love of his life: skiing. He's converted from snowboarding and can't wait to get up on the mountain to ski again.

Thank you 2009 and bring on 2010!
